It was the first time that Jack, an American tourist, had ever been to Thailand during the Songran festival. He had heard so much about it, how it was a time of celebration, water fights, and colorful parades. Jack was excited and could not wait to join in the fun.
On the first day of the festival, Jack woke up early, put on his swim trunks, and grabbed a water gun. As he walked out of his hotel, he was greeted by the sight of thousands of people armed with water guns and buckets of water, ready to join the battle.
